 The Recreation Department is committed to providing clean, safe, and well-maintained parks and facilities to the citizens of Richmond and it's surrounding townships, and is dedicated to coordinating efficient cost-effective programs and special events to promote and enhance the quality of life in Richmond.

  2. Richmond Community Center & Recreation Department Fall & Winter Hours

    The Richmond Community Center and Recreation Department Fall and Winter hours are now in effect. The building will be open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be closed on Fridays. The Recreation offices will close from Noon-1 p.m. for lunch. Read on...

    Beginner's Yoga Movements in this class focus on body, mind, breathing and posture to improve circulation, flexibility and focus. If you have your own yoga mat, please bring it to class. There is a limited amount of mats available for those who do not have one. It is requested that participants refrain from eating 2 hours prior to class and avoid wearing heavy colognes or perfumes. Class will not be held if Richmond Schools are closed due to inclement weather.

    Hall Walking at the Middle School Join the Recreation Department for Hall Walking at the Richmond Middle School! All walkers must complete a simple registration that includes emergency contact information and waiver to participate. This program is for ages 10 and up, and children must be supervised by an adult and actively walking.
