Officer - City
of Richmond, seeking qualified candidates for
union position of Part-Time Communications Officer. Responsible for dispatching police,
fire, and DPW as well as clerical
duties. Shift work and working holidays is
required. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, clerical
skills, with a large emphasis placed on computer skills. Will train for dispatching duties but prior
experience a plus. Applicant must be 18 years
of age, a U.S. citizen, no felony convictions. Pre-employment physical, a drug
screen, psychological evaluation and comprehensive background investigation required. Starting wage: $14.34/hourly. Send resume and
