In order to comply with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, Public Act 33 of 2008, communities must have an adopted six –year capital improvements plan (CIP).
The capital improvements plan details a minimum of six years (beginning with the current fiscal year) of public structures and improvements and is updated annually.
