RoadWorkAhead2

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) repaving project of M-19 (Gratiot Avenue) between New Haven and 31 Mile roads will be working in the area of the City of Richmond after Memorial Day. This portion of the project includes curb work near 31 Mile Road causing traffic to be shifted into the center-turn lanes.  As a result, there will be NO LEFT TURNS from Gratiot onto 31 Mile for both Northbound and Southbound traffic. Gratiot Avenue traffic will be able to continue through the intersection and make right hand turns.

To make a left hand turn onto 31 Mile Road please follow the posted detour, see map below. Click on the map for a larger view.
