The State of Michigan requires Cities to verify the composition of water service lines in houses with City water. DPW employees will be knocking on doors in December to inspect water service materials of homes that have not responded to previous letters. The employee will ask to see your water meter or water line where it enters the home. The inspection is visual and will take less than one minute. We appreciate your cooperation.
