[ARCHIVED] Still Looking for Chili Cook-Off Entries

STILL LOOKING FOR CHILI COOK-OFF ENTRIES!

The Parks & Recreation Department is still looking for entries for the 2026 Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, February 7th, 11a-1:30p at the Roosevelt Civic Auditorium (the Aud), 68931 Main Street. There is a $10 fee to enter your chili into the contest. Visitors will vote on their favorites in 4 categories (Home Cook, Service Organization, Business and Public Service). Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in each category. We have 16 roasters available for use upon request (first come, first serve).

To enter, please complete the entry form by clicking here and return it to the Richmond Community Center at 36164 Festival Drive in Beebe Street Park or you can mail it to PO Box 457 Richmond, MI 48062. If you'd prefer to fill out an online form, please click here. Email your completed entry form to parksandrec@comcast.net

Checks can be made payable to the "City of Richmond". Entries must be received by January 30, 2026. Please call the Recreation Dept at (586) 727-3064 for additional information.


Don't want to cook? Come out and vote for your favorite chili!  $2 donation per person to sample all entries, payable at the door. 

Please be advised that parking is NOT ALLOWED at Ball Equipment or Pyro Joes. The parking lot for the AUD is located in the back of the building. Thank you for your cooperation.
