The City has received several calls concerning the water main break in Burtchfield Township in St. Clair County and the boil water advisory for area cities/townships.
Please be advised that the City of Richmond is NOT AFFECTED by this water main break/boil water advisory, as we are on our own water system separate from the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA)
Only the following communities remain under the boil water advisory: Bruce Township, Washington Township, Shelby Township, Macomb Township, Chesterfield Township, Lenox Township, New Haven, and the industrial park in Romeo.
