Historic Cemetery Walk

Bring the family and join us for a guided tour and experience the personal stories of five influential, historic Richmond families when portrayed by local actors who bring to life their stories of tragedies and successes with a slice of history.

Saturday, September 28, 2023 - 1:00-3:00 - City of Richmond Cemetery

(Located at the northern extreme of the city, adjacent to M-19)

Walking tour is scheduled and begins every half hour. Cart transportation available for those requiring assistance. Featuring Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Denton; Homer Evans; The Hirt Family; John Pound, told by Marie Rasey; and the story of Rayswift Gables. 

The event is designed to be educational, and the Society takes every precaution to be respectful of the final resting places of Richmond residents.

Advance ticket purchase is required to secure your time slot. Slots sell out quickly! Reserve yours today to ensure you get the time you wantTickets: $15.00, children 5 and under free
