During hydrant flushing DPW found and older hydrant on Gierk Street that was not working. DPW will be temporarily shutting down the water main on Gierk Street to replace a broken fire hydrant. The work is scheduled for the morning of Friday, May 6th. Water service will be temporarily shut-off from approximately 8:00 a.m. until noon. The attached notice is being distributed to residents now.
