The City of Richmond water tower is out of service this week (Monday, August 7th through Friday, August 11th) for maintenance and cleaning. Residents are asked to please conserve water by limiting lawn irrigation during this process.
During this time, the City will be maintaining system pressure through the use of its wells.
In order to balance the pressure, we will have pressure relief valves located on fire hydrants at:
East end of Pound Road
Priestap & Beech
On Lake Angela Drive
Division Road, by EMS
West end of 31 Mile Road
These valves are intended to “leak” water as the pressure fluctuates.
