Family has resided in the area for over 175 years
First elected to City Council in November 1995, served as mayor from 1997 to 2001, and selected by City Council as Mayor again in November 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
Chairman of Richmond Good Old Days Festival Committee from 1983 to 1988, and 1993 to present
Richmond Board of Education from 1988 to 1996
Richmond Planning Commission from 1997 to 2001,and 2003 to present
Richmond High School Junior Varsity softball coach
