The Department of Public Works (DPW) is managed by the Public Services Director, who is appointed by the city manager. The DPW facility is located at 69129 Beebe Street, Richmond, Michigan 48062, and is responsible for the following public services:

• Cemetery Operations
• Street and Sidewalk Maintenance
• Trash Collection
• Water and Sanitary Sewer Systems

The Public Works Department also performs miscellaneous repair work for the city.

Staff

The personnel roster for the department includes seven full-time employees and a part-time secretary:

• Public Services Director
• Crew Leader
• Cemetery Sexton
• Four Utility Servicemen

During the summer, three temporary employees are added to assist with grounds maintenance activities.
